Anushay Mazhar
Founder & Director
Anushay is a Psychology graduate from UCL, where she is currently doing a research-based masters in developmental neuroscience. She is interested in raising awareness and conducting research on developmental conditions, notably within the Pakistani population. Her creative abilities are best expressed through her passion for photography and are showcased on her Instagram blog @anushaysphotodump. She also has a deep rooted fear of animals, especially cats.

Shanzeh Rizvi
Manager & Therapy Project Lead
Shanzeh is a third-year Psychology undergraduate at the University of Warwick. She is a strong advocate for an open conversation about mental health, particularly in Pakistan. Her free time is spent binge-watching shows, playing with her dog Padfoot, or obsessing over Formula 1.

Sana Ahmed
School OutReach Project Lead
Sana has completed her masters in genetics and development of psychology and psychiatry from KCL and is currently working in research. She is passionate about raising awareness and conducting research within Pakistan, with a particular interest in Eating Disorders. When she isn’t aggressively debunking food and diet myths she can be found burning batches of cookies and struggling to accept that she can’t cook.

Zahra Hamayun
Research
Zahra has a Masters in Psychology from Coventry University (UK) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Autism studies from Griffith university (Australia). She is interested in researching and providing evidence-based services to neurodivergent children and young people especially in relation to adolescence-to-adulthood transition and vocational skills. In her free time, Zahra is often engaged in a fitness activity or glued to a screen playing video games.

Zeast Kamal
Business Outreach Lead & Research
Zeast is a Psychology and Linguistics graduate as well as a Master’s student at UCL. She is passionate about working towards destigmatizing mental health within the South-Asian community and is always open for a conversation on the topic. She can usually be found either binge-watching Friends and crime documentaries on Netflix or baking.

Areesha Ahmer
Hospital Outreach Lead & Graphic Design
Areesha, is currently a first year MBBS student at Aga Khan University. She strongly believes in making healthcare, including mental health services, accessible to everyone. Her free time is spent trying to maintain a bullet journal and reading murder mysteries.

Maira Aamir
School Project
Maira is currently completing her junior year of Bachelors in Applied Psychology from BNU. She has keen interests in child psychology, building a collective approach to offering support for special needs and trauma rehabilitation and research that also aims to encapsulate the reality of human experience. In her free time she is often found scouring the city for the best hot chocolate, painting and involuntarily (or so she says) fostering an increasing number of cats.

Nimra Akram
School Project Intern
Nimra is currently completing her third year of Bachelors in Applied Psychology at BNU. She has a special interest in trauma studies and indigenous perspectives and research. On her off time, you can find her dancing to old Bollywood songs.

Hamna Tariq
School Project Intern
Hamna is currently a final year Psychology undergraduate at University of Karachi. She is primarily concerned with destigmatising mental health problems in Pakistan with a special focus on children. She is also a foster mom to abandoned cats and loves spending time with her monster cat, Rose.
